The name is chosen

Daily Disciple is now Daybreak Disciple.

Same heart — helping everyday men follow Jesus every single day — with a name that’s distinctive, ownable, and true to the sunrise. This page is the home of everything we’ve built together; the Menu opens the rest.

Why Daybreak Disciple

It keeps the soul of the idea — and finally makes it ownable.

Daybreak

Dawn. First light. New every morning — Drew’s own tagline, and his whole vision of following Jesus every single day. It echoes Surprise Christian Church’s sunrise, too: SCC is the sunrise; Daybreak Disciple is the walk that begins at first light. The mark says it plainly — the sun rising out of an open Bible.

Disciple

The core stays. A disciple is a learner under a teacher, trained daily, sent to disciple the next person. “Daybreak Disciple” keeps everything “Daily Disciple” meant — while stepping out of a very crowded name into one nobody else is using.

The honest part

The full phrase is unclaimed, but both words are common in Christian media, so it’s a moderate, not ironclad mark. Two things a proper trademark clearance should look at before any launch:

  • Zondervan’s DAYBREAK® devotional-Bible line — same category, same men’s audience.
  • “Disciple” in software (the Disciple community-app platform) — matters only if we ship an app.

Preliminary screening, not legal advice — see the note in the footer.

Next steps

Register daybreakdisciple.com and reserve the four handles now (availability is fleeting, and it’s cheap insurance) · arrange a proper trademark clearance on the two items above before any public launch · a distinctive wordmark helps it stand apart from the bigger “Daybreak” and “Disciple” names.
